About Us

Al Salam Project for Learning Difficulties is a humanitarian development initiative under the auspices of Barbar Charity Society. The idea emerged from a group of specialists and practitioners in the field of special education, who translated their expertise into a feasibility study submitted to the Ministry of Labour and Social Development in 2014. Because the idea served people with learning and speech difficulties with distinction, the association won a grant and the project launched at the beginning of 2015. The centre serves individuals with a variety of learning and speech difficulties, rehabilitating them and helping them integrate into society. It also educates parents and the wider community through continuous courses and workshops.

Vision

To be the leading and unique project in the field of learning difficulties at the national and regional level.

Mission

To provide high-quality educational and rehabilitative services for individuals with learning difficulties through qualified and competent staff and the latest teaching methods and tools.

We provide specialist educational guidance to parents, teachers and professionals, covering best practices in special education and strategies for supporting learning and speech difficulties both at home and in school.

We develop personalised educational and rehabilitation plans tailored to each individual's strengths and needs. Plans are reviewed and updated regularly in close collaboration with parents and caregivers.
